Information for Visiting Teams
We look forward to welcoming you to the Thomas Alleyne Academy, home of Stevenage Starlets Football Club. To help ensure your visit as enjoyable as possible, please take a moment to read this important information.
Access and Parking
Please be aware that the school car park can get very busy on match days. Should the car park be full, there is additional parking along the High Street, or in local car parks (signposted from the High Street). There is no parking allowed on the kerb on The Grange and visitors are not permitted to drive further into the school beyond the main gate.
We ask that you are respectful to both other users and to our neighbours at all times. Please park appropriately, using only the designated spaces in the main parking area.
You should note that in a change to previous years, all of our matches will be played on the Middle Pitches at Thomas Alleynes – access to this is through the school grounds and across a public footpath and will be clearly signposted (download our Map for further details).
Please be aware of the following site rules:
No dogs are allowed ANYWHERE on site, including the Middle Field
No smoking or vaping are permitted ANYWHERE on the site, including the car parks
The current situation and guidance regarding COVID-19 requires that we ask the following of all visitors on match days:
Please arrive at the time instructed ahead of your match – should you be early, please wait in your car until your scheduled time to allow other users to depart
All attendees must perform a self-assessment prior to leaving home – if a player (or member of their household) is symptomatic or isolating, they should NOT attend
All adults (16+) entering the site should check in using the NHS Test and Trace app, using the QR code at the entrance to the pitches (visiting teams will still need to record details of their players and spectators in attendance as per FA guidance)
As our pitches are on private land no spectators are currently permitted, other than adults who are needed to supervise U18s as per current FA and Government guidance
Players should bring their own personal hand sanitiser for application
There should be no chewing of gum or spitting anywhere on site
Supporters must always remain behind the Respect barrier during games and should demonstrate good social distancing behaviours at all times when on site
Please follow up with your designated team contact if you should have any questions.
